Know it … Live it! Classes

We believe the Bible should shape the way Christians view the world and live their lives in the world. Sunday mornings from 9:45-10:45 groups of preschoolers, children, students, and adults meet to learn what the Bible teaches and to apply it to daily living.

Adults are asked to review the following class electives and to register for one of the classes. If you know of someone not currently in a class, make sure to invite them to one. Classes begin next Sunday, September 2, at 9:45 a.m

Essential Doctrines for Discipleship: David Moyer

Lifeway Quarterly: Donald Bennett – This quarter a variety of texts will be surveyed to treat the themes: What it Means to Follow Jesus … Is There Life After Failure? … The Church: Transforming Lives in a Changing Culture. This class uses literature for senior adults but is open to all ages.

Forgotten God: Ginny Foran – This semester will look at scripture and the book Forgotten God: Reversing Our Tragic Neglect of the Holy Spirit by Francis Chan. Please Note: This class is geared for young adults.

Hebrews: Joe Feinour – We will continue to work our way through the Book of Hebrews.

Spiritual Disciplines: Todd Twining – Spiritual Disciplines for the Christian Life will be the text for this class that will examine the meaning and development of several spiritual habits to enhance your relationship with God.

The Gospel Project: Tammie Hull – The Gospel Project is a Christ-centered curriculum that examines the grand narrative of Scripture and how the gospel transforms the lives of those it touches. Over a three-year plan of study, each session immerses participants — adults, students, and kids — in the gospel through every story, theological concept, and call to missions from Genesis to Revelation.

Starting Point: Joe McGraw and David Opdahl – a small group study for those seeking, starting out or restarting in their faith and mature Christians who will bring someone in the previous categories with them. This study is limited to 10 participants
